Golden Sierra Life Skills is the contract provicer for the Male Involvement Program at KidZKount:Placer Community Action Council, Inc.

The goal of the Involved Males program is to bring fathers/father figures into a role as active participants in the lives of children by providing a variety of opportunities for participation/interactions in  PCAC, and community partners.

• Monthly parent – center committee meetings (Local meetings at every PCAC center). Monthly Policy Council meetings (Agency wide representatives – delegates and alternates from each center).
• Serving as a program site Male Ambassador.
• Monthly standing committees (Delegates and Alternates of the Policy Council meeting in smaller groups).
• Involved Males Advisory committee (Men advising staff on direction of program and policy changes).
• Opportunities for Fathers Education. Man-2-Man peer support. Sharing the Dream.
• Putting Dad’s in the Picture.
• “Daddy, Read To Me!”
• Community events created by collaboration of men and staff.
